A letter from PAAC’s President:
Thank you for choosing us to care for your pet. It’s a privilege to be part of their journey to a healthy, happy life. We understand that pets are family, and we are honored to support you in giving them the care they deserve.
We’re excited to share a bit of news about how we’re growing to meet the needs of pets in our community. We’ve recently acquired land on Bear Lane, near the new Food Bank, where we will be building a larger facility. With an additional 6,000 square feet, our new space will allow us to provide care for even more pets—adding capacity for 50 additional pets each day, or 13,000 more each year. Our hope is that this expansion will allow us to keep pets in loving homes and ease the burden on local shelters.
Over the past year, we’ve worked hard to increase our capacity by 15%, and we’ve also expanded into the Rio Grande Valley, making us the largest spay/neuter clinic in South Texas. These changes mean that more pets across our region can receive the compassionate care they need.
Your trust in us is the foundation of everything we do. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your pet’s life and for letting us share in the joy they bring. We’re committed to being here for you and your pets, providing the best possible care and working to ensure that every pet owner in our community has access to the services they need.
Thank you for being a part of our community and our journey.
For the Animals,
Cheryl Martinez
